Generative AI Policy
Last Updated: May 21, 2025Our mission is to help humans grow and refine their craft. But, like it or not, generative AI (AIgen) is here to stay. This policy outlines our expectations for how AIgen may—and may not—be used with your works on our platform. It’s fairly straight forward:
Every word in your writing should come from your own hands—and similarly, every brushstroke (figuratively speaking) in your artwork.
You’re free to use ethically trained AIgen in ways that support your creative process, but the final work must be entirely your own: expressed in your voice and shaped by your hands.
If you ever find yourself asking, “Does what I’m doing count as coming from my own hands?” — chances are, it doesn’t. In that case, reassess and adjust your process and tool usage. You should always feel confident that you can stand behind your work as truly yours.
